Poll Workers Needed For Election Day

New Jersey citizens needed!

The Division of Elections, within the New Jersey Department of State, is seeking New Jersey citizens to assist by serving as board workers. Training is required and will be provided.

Citizens of all ages, including college and high school students, are encouraged to apply. Please do your part to assist your community in ensuring that Election Day in New Jersey is conducted with great competence and responsiveness to the public.

Essex County Hiring Poll Workers

Essex County Freeholder President Brendan Gill is leading the efforts to recruit Poll Workers for Election Day. The Essex County Board of Elections will administer the recruitment of the poll workers and assign them to their locations. Poll workers will earn $200 for a 15-hour workday that will begin at 5:30 a.m., until 8:30 p.m. Prior to Election Day, the poll workers will be provided the necessary training to carry out their duties.
