Welcome

In 2020 and 2021, Nutley Dems worked hard registering voters, getting information out about Democratic candidates, and electing Democrats nationally and locally. We did this during a once in a lifetime pandemic and global economic recession with anti-Democratic forces threatening our democracy. And now for the November 2022 Election, we are mobilized to increase our majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

We are advocating for a better, fairer, and brighter future for every American: rolling up our sleeves, empowering voters, and organizing everywhere to take our country back and to support the values that will move our country forward.

We are Nutley Democrats, your family, friends and neighbors working hard to ensure that our voices are heard through our votes, our advocacy and our outreach throughout our town, New Jersey and on the national level.

We support and will work tirelessly to see implementation of President Biden’s policies and agenda. Now that we helped to re-elect Governor Phil Murphy, we are committed to making sure that Representative Mikie Sherrill continues as congresswoman for NJ-11 as well as Democrats at every level.

THE NUTLEY DEMOCRATS and THE NUTLEY REPUBLICANS

The Nutley Republicans (Committee and Club) and the Nutley Democrats
(Committee and Club) are pleased to announce that they are co-
sponsoring a Forum for the 2022 Nutley Board of Education Candidates.

The Forum will be held at the John Walker Middle School Auditorium the
evening of October 27, 2022, beginning at 7:00 P.M. and ending at 9:00
P.M. The meeting is open for the public to attend. Additional
information will be forth coming.

All six candidates have been invited to participate.

The citizens of Nutley can provide input to the sponsors of the Forum by
indicating questions and concerns that they would like to have
addressed by contacting:

While it may not be possible to cover everyone’s individual
communication in a single evening, the sponsors of the Forum will
provide each candidate with all responder’s questions at the close of the
Forum for follow up.

EVERY Monday at 3:00-5:00 pm — Women for Mikie Virtual Phonebank. Lend a hand from wherever you are!
EVERY Tuesday at 5:00 pm, at campaign headquarters in West Caldwell — In Person Auto Dialer Phonebank.
EVERY DAY — Virtual phonebanks to prepare voters for the midterms!

We’re knocking on doors all across the district to talk about Mikie and voting this fall.

Team Mikie will be providing a training beforehand to answer any questions you might have and to ensure you feel comfortable canvassing! If you’re new to canvassing you’ll be paired up with a buddy.

Women for Mikie

Virtual Phonebank!

Join Team Mikie as we make calls to voters in NJ-11! You’ll receive a thorough training on how to talk to voters about Mikie and learn how to use our phonebank system. The Zoom link will be emailed to you as soon as you sign-up.

We’ll be making calls every Monday until the election so join us every week to make sure we re-elect Mikie this fall!

The Nutley Vote-By-Mail (VBM) Ballot Drop Box Location: Nutley’s secure ballot drop box is at Town Hall 1 Kennedy Drive Nutley NJ 07110. Located at the front of the building the east side corner by the driveway.

Election Overview: Voting for the November General 2022 election will be in-person and by Vote-By-Mail ballots, and will include the option of early voting . Go here for important dates for Essex County Voters including voter registration deadline, the early in-person voting period and deadline for requesting a Vote-By-Mail Ballot.

For the November General Election for early and election day voting, Essex County will have updated voting machine that use paper ballots recording votes through secure optical scanning. Voters are also encouraged to use the “Vote-By-Mail” option.
